The oldest living thing on the planet is a bristlecone pine, living up to 5,000 years. The largest living thing is a cluster of root connected aspens, From the oxygen we breathe to the soil beneath our feet, we have trees to thank. Paper, books, instruments, furniture, buildings, boats, fuel, food, shade, habitat, and beauty are the daily interactions we have with trees. This collection of multi-ethnic songs celebrates the glory of our woodlands. May this educate and inspire us to appreciate the understated majesty of the trees around us.
