Peter Rowan is an American bluegrass musician. Rowan plays guitar and mandolin, yodels and sings. He was a member Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Boys in the 1960s. In the 1970s, he joined David Grisman and Jerry Garcia in forming Old and in the Way. Since then, he has been involved in many group and solo projects. Singer/songwriter Peter Rowan was one of the major cult bluegrass artists of the '80s, winning a devoted, international fan base through his independent records and constant touring. Rowan continues to work with a variety of musicians and tour. |
