These delightful new songs are quite different. Steer Horns on My Subaru is a comedy C&W song that has been played on NPR's car talk. Some C&W radio DJ's are playing it (including Captain Carl). The second one is a serious world-music/rock/pop song that several Taos musicians worked on, called Africa. It celebrates Africa as the birthplace of the human race. Besides being available for Direct Download on taosmusic.com, this one is available as a beautifully packaged cd single. The group that Bob put together for this project is called Planet Taos (and "exists" only in the studio).

Adrienne Braswell did the vocals, Peter Barbeau the sax, Rick Klein the drums, Rick DeStefano the keyboards, C. J. Ronk the bass, with Bob & Sambhu doing the electric guitar tracks.

Bob Aldo started out singing and playing the blues in Pittsburg in the late 1950's. Bob Aldo's a veteran of the NYC Folk Scene of the early 60's, the "hippie glory daze" of rock 'n roll in New Mexico with the legendary Oriental Blue Streaks, and the San Francisco rock scene of the early 70's with Dolly and the Lama Mountain Boys. Bob Aldo hosted "Morning Train," heard over KUNM in the late 70's and early 80's, and was known as the "Daddy-o of the Raddio" in Taos early FM days.
