 Bogey has been writing songs since she was 12 years old. She has written over 200 songs to date. Originally from Lake Dallas, Texas, Bogey's been living in Taos since 1997. He first CD was "Primarily Yours" recorded in Farmersville, Texas, and released in 1995. Her newest recording is "Rock Art, recorded in Taos and released in 2005. Bogey was nominated for New Mexico Music Industry Awards (NMMIA ) in 3 categories - for best arrangement: Apologize (unreleased), Best Folk / Americana: Pray Me Home (unreleased), and Best Packaging Rock Art.
Bogey has two more projects in the works. Cache is a collection of previously unrecorded material and another with all new songs
"Rock Art" is a nod to the eternally inspiring Southwest. Bogey really got into petroglyphs and ancient art during the recording of the album, and it just became clear to her that the project was her own personal rock art.
"Primarily Yours" is named for Bogey's love of doube entendres. The record is simply produced. It's red, yellow and blue and was primarily written for one person.
